Jets Teams win Turkey Tournament

Tuesday, November 29, 2011

The Jets had a great showing at the Turkey Tournament this year. Teams from across the city and suburbs participated in this annual Tournament held over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.  Of the 5 teams that entered from the Jets organization, 3 made it to the championship, with Pee Wee 3 taking second and both Squirt 3 and 4 taking home the big trophy for their Division.

It was exciting to see Jets players from the other teams supporting each other throughout the tournament in the stands. Our team coaches, providing our players with the very best instruction and leadership, are also to be commended for their dedication and committment to the kids and the organization.

Thanks to all the teams that participated this year.
